Kerala Fish Curry Recipe
Ingredients:
Heat oil in a clay pot or pan, add mustard seeds and let them splutter. Add fenugreek seeds and curry leaves.
Sauté onions until golden, then add ginger-garlic paste and green chilies.
Add tomatoes and cook until soft. Mix in turmeric, red chili, and coriander powder.
Pour tamarind extract, add salt, and bring to a boil.
Add fish pieces and let them cook for 7–10 minutes.
Add coconut milk (if using), simmer for 2 minutes, and turn off the heat.
Stir in coconut milk, simmer for 2 minutes, and turn off the heat.
Garnish with fresh curry leaves and serve hot.
