Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and results-oriented Sales Officer with 2 years of experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in FMCG sales, strong communication skills, and a track record of meeting sales targets. As a Sales Officer, you will be responsible for executing sales strategies, building relationships with clients, and driving sales growth.
Responsibilities
- Sales Execution:
- Implement sales strategies to achieve assigned sales targets.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the FMCG sector.
- Conduct regular sales visits to retailers, wholesalers, and distributors.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Provide product information and training to clients to enhance their knowledge and promote sales.
- Market Analysis:
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior.
- Gather and report market intelligence to the sales manager to support strategic planning.
- Provide feedback on product performance and customer preferences.
- Sales Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales performance.
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports to the sales manager.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales efforts with promotional activities.
- Work closely with the supply chain team to ensure timely product availability.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth sales operations.
- Sales Promotion:
- Participate in promotional activities, trade shows, and product launches.
- Implement in-store promotions and merchandising strategies to boost sales.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in the FMCG sector.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to analyze sales data and make data-driven decisions.
