Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and results-oriented Sales Officer with 2 years of experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in FMCG sales, strong communication skills, and a track record of meeting sales targets. As a Sales Officer, you will be responsible for executing sales strategies, building relationships with clients, and driving sales growth.

Responsibilities

  1. Sales Execution:
    • Implement sales strategies to achieve assigned sales targets.
    • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the FMCG sector.
    • Conduct regular sales visits to retailers, wholesalers, and distributors.
  2. Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
    • Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
    • Provide product information and training to clients to enhance their knowledge and promote sales.
  3. Market Analysis:
    • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior.
    • Gather and report market intelligence to the sales manager to support strategic planning.
    • Provide feedback on product performance and customer preferences.
  4. Sales Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales performance.
    • Prepare and submit regular sales reports to the sales manager.
    • Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  5. Collaboration and Communication:
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales efforts with promotional activities.
    • Work closely with the supply chain team to ensure timely product availability.
    • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth sales operations.
  6. Sales Promotion:
    • Participate in promotional activities, trade shows, and product launches.
    • Implement in-store promotions and merchandising strategies to boost sales.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in the FMCG sector.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented.
